Take a walk into the past and the darker side of this ancient market town on 15 May 2020, meeting 7.00 pm at the gates of Dalkeith Country Park (at the bottom of the High Street).

Ø Witchcraft
Ø Hangings
Ø Grave robbing
Ø Murder
These are just some of the stories to be told when you learn about the dark side of Dalkeith. If you have a sensitive disposition you may wish to bring a friend. Your journey will take in a number of exciting and interesting historic buildings and places with their own stories of the dark past to tell.
Duration will be about one hour and thirty minutes. You will need a glass of something to calm your shattered nerves in the British Legion where stories continue into the night ……………… you have been warned.

Your journey will be led by a mysterious character from the past. Numbers are restricted to 30 and attendance is by booking in advance only. Please wear strong shoes and the event is not suitable for children or those with mobility problems. Participants are responsible for their own safety.
